Plastic Surgery Links

When it comes to plastic surgery, Burt Reynolds would be one of the less obvious potential patients. Throughout the years he has been portrayed as a macho, cavalier character on the silver screen. Not some vain actor who was over concerned with his looks, although he did pose for Playgirl during the height of his career.

I was surprised to see Burt Reynolds got a facelift and possibly some Botox to iron out those wrinkles and lines on his forehead. His face looks stretched back and has a wax-like appearance about it now. His rugged, manly looks have been substituted for some less masculine mask. Burt Reynolds was once voted “The Sexiest Man Alive” in People magazine many years ago. I think he needs to let go of that and stop trying to recapture the past via plastic surgery.

Perhaps the most obvious example of crap plastic surgery undertaken over a long period of time would be the case of Jocelyn Wildenstein. Her terrible plastic looks have caused her to be labelled as “The Bride of Wildenstein” in reference to the fictional Dr Frankenstein and his monstrosity of a bride. The transformation over the years has been horrific.

It is rumoured Jocelyn Wildenstein has spent around USD 4 million over the years on cosmetic surgery processes. Her plastic surgery addiction began after she caught her husband cheating on her with another woman. In order to win him back, she went under the knife to “improve” her looks. As it turns out, they are no longer together despite all her efforts to make herself look beautiful through surgery.

Now take a look at Gary Busey’s face. This is a prime example of crap plastic surgery. Some people have speculated that Gary’s uneven-looking eyes are the result of a botched facelift or eyelid surgery.

His teeth also look unusually perfect which indicates the use of dental veneers. Gary Busey did have a serious motorcycle accident several years ago which resulted in horrific facial fractures and subsequent plastic surgery.

Donatella Versace may be a famous and talented fashion designer but all her plastic surgery makes her look like an Italian cartoon character. Her face looks all pumped up and swollen from extensive operations from her plastic surgeon. It really does look freakish.

This is just another example of a female celebrity refusing to age gracefully. Donatella Versace really has had one too many cosmetic enhancements to her ghoulish face.

Why do Hollywood celebrities keep doing it to themselves? In order to fight the effects of ageing, they are willing to go under the knife to prevent the visible signs of their sagging skin.

Sometimes these desperate measures to maintain their youthful looks can lead to some pretty awful results. Actor Mickey Rourke is a prime example of this.

This Hollywood bad boy initially gained fame for his rugged looks and tough guy roles. These days he just looks plain weird. The obvious signs of a facelift seem so apparent. He seems to have a permanent “happy/smiley” look about him these days.
