Heidi Montag is the 23 year-old star in the reality TV show “The Hills”.  Not surprisingly, her looks have been altered a fair bit over the past few years. Heidi Montag admitted in an interview with “People” magazine that she is addicted to plastic surgery. She claimed she had ten cosmetic surgery procedures performed on her in one day during November 2009. Although a lot of the work has been gradual and well-performed, her chest does look obviously fake and artificial.

In the People magazine article, Heidi Montag revealed that her plastic surgeries have included a nose job, chin reduction, botox injections in her forehead, neck liposuction, ear pinning, a mini brow lift, fat injections in her cheeks, lip collagen injections, liposuction on her waist, hips, and inner and outer thighs, buttock augmentation and breast enlargement surgery. You name it, she’s done it! Heidi Montag’s obsession with plastic surgery has placed her in danger of serious health complications or even death, as plastic surgery procedures can cause both.

According to “People”, Heidi Montag did not even tell her family about her plans to undergo so many plastic surgery procedures. She seems truly obsessed with plastic surgery and there will come a point where too much cosmetic surgery will make her look awful and it may even leave her scarred.

It seems that Botox is a popular treatment among the male cast of American Idol. Ryan Seacrest reportedly overdid the Botox back in Season 2 of American Idol. When he turned up to work with a frozen face and told the producers of that he had undergone Botox injections to get rid of wrinkles on his face, they reportedly banned him from further treatments.

As many celebrities and cosmetic surgery junkies know, Botox is a simple and non-surgical treatment that has the benefits of temporarily smoothing out moderate to severe frown lines between a person’s brows. One Botox treatment only takes  5-10 minutes to complete and it merely involves a few tiny injections. Within a few days, there’s a noticeable improvement in moderate to severe frown lines between the brows, which can last up to 4 months. Just ask Simon Cowell. Apprently scornful American Idol judge Simon Cowell has benefited from Botox as well.

Ryan Seacrest has made jibes on national TV about Simon’s noticeably reduced wrinkles. Simon Cowell has also previously confessed to getting his wrinkles removed with Botox injections. “I have not had cosmetic surgery. Yes, I’ve had Botox, but not in an obsessive way. Then again, every guy I know who works in the City has had it now.”

Lisa Rinna is one of those celebrities who openly admits to chemical enhancements for her face. She has spoke openly about botched treatments in her cheeks with Juvederm injections and using Botox in order to maintain a youthful look. Her candidness about plastic surgery springs from a number of horror treatments that left her face looking butchered.

As an actress and former Playboy model who is now on the wrong side of 40, it is no surprise Lisa Rinna has succumbed to the pressure of keeping up an attractive image. Rinna has certainly regretted having her face injected with Juvederm. “What I learned is that I don’t really need it. You get older and insecure and you think you need it and you don’t,” she said.

As for stopping on chemical facial treatments, well, Rinna seems to be quite the advocate of Botox. “I still like Botox. It’s great!” she said, adding that this type of plastic surgery is pleasant because it does not change the shape of her face. It seems these days, that is how middle-aged actresses can continue to find work in such a superficial industry. Amazingly, Lisa Rinna is due to shoot her second pictorial with Playboy magazine at the ripe age of 45.

Born as Scott Thompson, he later adopted the stage name Carrot Top and used to be a decent comedian. Carrot Top gained fame partly due to his unusual looks and due to his prop comedy. Now he just looks plain scary with all that plastic surgery performed on his face. That is one of the most crazy-looking brow lifts I’ve ever seen. It seems like his permanent stare and raised eyebrows are posing questions to the people around him.

The guy has also beefed up significantly suggesting a lot of gym work and possibly steroid abuse. What’s definitely clear though is that Carrot Top’s face no longer resembles the geeky fresh-faced kid who appeared on TV screens over a decade ago. The tightening of the skin and facial features suggests some Botox injections were required to create this new scary Carrot Top image.

Priscilla Presley has recently come out and admitted that she had some cosmetic surgery performed on her by a fraudster. Her face was injected with silicone materials instead of her usual botox treatment by fraudulent dermatologist Dr Daniel Serrano. What a pity for her. Priscilla’s face looks so swollen now.

Over the years, Priscilla Presley has been renowned for keeping a youthful and relatively wrinkle-free image through the aid of cosmetic surgery. She appears to have gotten a facelift as evidenced by her jawline and the lack of sagging in her neck. Priscilla Presley’s eyes appear youthful and there are no eye bags possibly as a result of blepharoplasty (eyelid surgery). She’s also had quite a number of age-defying Botox injections to prevent wrinkles and lines on her face. I guess she was bound to get a botched plastic surgery operation eventually after undergoing so many cosmetic procedures throughout the years.

Barry Manilow just looks plain weird these days with his heavily altered face. It’s obvious he had a number of facelifts and Botox injections over the years.

Think of all the painful surgery and injections Barry Manilow has gone through in order to defy gravity. Such are the lengths an entertainer in the public eye will go to in order to maintain their previous youthful image.

Perhaps Barry Manilow should be serenading “I Can’t Smile Without You” to his plastic surgeon for giving his face such an uplifted expression.
